Supporting local enterprises

We work year-round to support local social enterprises and community initiatives with funding and resource assistance because we value the importance of local businesses and recognise the impact they have on communities. We have all faced many challenges this year, including not-for-profit organisations, so providing support to people who give back to their communities has become more essential than ever.

Most recently, we have continued our support of Rusty Road to Recovery. This bespoke social enterprise based at a garage in Bridgewater provides mental health support, low cost car repairs and, in some instances, free checks by professional mechanics. The enterprise strives to support adults experiencing loneliness and illnesses, young people who require guidance and anyone who is dealing with mental ill health.

During the government directive to stay home the garage started operating as a foodbank, alongside its regular goal of delivering wellbeing support. To underpin their vital work, we have provided £1,887 in funding which has directly benefitted their volunteers and helped them to raise greater awareness of their work, enabling them to reach out to more people.

We are passionate about connecting our customers with initiatives that will make a positive difference and providing funding and expertise to allow projects to thrive. Do you want to connect with us? Visit to find out more about how we can support your project.
