Our Board

Yarlington reports to its own board. The board provides strategic advice, and direction to the management team. And ensures we meet corporate governance laws, standards of practice, and remain committed to solving the housing crisis.

All Yarlington Housing Group Board members are also members of Yarlington Homes Board, and Yarlington Property Management Board.

Lindy Morgan

Lindy Morgan

Chair of the Board
Chair of Yarlington Board and Yarlington Property Management Board. Member of Remuneration Committee. MSc Housing, Dip Housing, TPP, BSc (Hons) Lindy has extensive knowledge of regional and national housing issues due to previous experience and employment. This includes tenant and community involvement, local authority strategy and housing association development. She was previously Director of The Sovereign Development Consortium. Key skills include strategic thinking, good leadership, motivational qualities and partnership working, which she delivers using effective communication and management skills. Lindy is also Chair of Westworks Procurement Ltd. Appointed to the Board in August 2009. Appointed as Chair in 2017.
Wayne Morris

Wayne Morris

Vice Chair
Vice-Chair of the Yarlington Board. Chair of the Yarlington Homes Board and Remuneration Committee. An experienced housing professional, Wayne has spent nearly 25 years working at Chief Executive level within major housing associations across the south west, notably Spectrum Housing Group (2007-13) before it merged with Sovereign Housing Association in 2016. Wayne holds several non-executive directorships in the housing sector including Yarlington Housing Group, Yarlington Homes Ltd and Asra Housing Group (London) where he is chair of the Governance and Remuneration Committee. Wayne is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Appointed to Board in April 2015. Appointed as Vice-Chair in 2017.
Caroline Moore

Managing Director and Yarlington Board member
Yarlington Board member. Caroline joined Yarlington from Pricewaterhouse Coopers where she specialised in providing consultancy and audit services to the housing sector in the south west and nationally. Caroline is also a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Yeovil District Hospital, and Chair of their Audit Committee. Appointed to the Board in April 2015.
Joanna Makinson

Yarlington Board member. Vice-Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Member of the Yarlington Treasury Services Board. Jo is Finance Director and Deputy Chief Executive at Bristol Community Health. Prior to her current role, Jo was Finance Director and Company Secretary at United Communities having qualified as an accountant in Pricewaterhouse Coopers’ public-sector team in Bristol. Jo has a first-class degree in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge. Appointed to the Board in November 2015.
Richard Nicol

Yarlington Board member. Richard is a qualified surveyor with a wealth of housing and development experience. He's worked in the industry for 30 years, 16 of which were spent in private development. Richard has expertise in sales, marketing, and surveying and has carried out extensive market research which has helped to steer scheme design and build. His experience and previous employment has given him sound knowledge of the south west housing market. Appointed to the Board in January 2018.
Ray Thompson

Yarlington Board member. Chair of Audit and Risk Committee. Member of the Remuneration Committee and Yarlington Treasury Services Board. Ray is a self-employed consultant working in the financial services industry, specialising in finance and risk. He has significant experience in the mortgage lending industry having held two executive main board appointments. Appointment to the Board in July 2010.
Michael Stancombe

Yarlington Board member. Chair of the Yarlington Treasury Services Board. Member of the Audit and Risk Committee. Michael is a retired, highly experienced real estate lawyer who worked as a Partner of Hogan Lovells International LLP for over 30 years. Michael specialised in development, financing and investment. Michael is also Vice-Chair of Vivid Homes (previously Sentinel Housing Group). Appointed to the Board in November 2015.

Kathryn Price

Kathryn Price

Interim Finance Director
Kathryn joined Yarlington in October 2018 and is no stranger to the housing sector. Since 2004 she has been finance director, resource director and a consultant to housing associations across the south of England. Prior to this, Kathryn qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Whinney, worked in New Zealand and in 2016 was Finance Director at Bristol Zoo, where her days in the office included hearing lions roaring.
Andy Skarzynski

Andy Skarzynski

Executive Director of People, Information and Culture
Andy is responsible for human resources, IT and internal & external communications. He works to ensure that Yarlington has the right people, guided and motivated by the right values, and supported by the right technology in order to deliver its full potential. Andy's background includes significant experience in marketing, communications, ecommerce and change management gained across a range of businesses and sectors. He has worked in both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, including senior roles with Age UK, The Financial Times and most recently, Mole Valley Farmers.
Sam Leigh

Sam Leigh

Executive Director of Customer, Communities and Enterprise
Sam is responsible for all areas of service delivery across our customers and communities as well as the commercial growth and expansion of Yarlington’s services to new customer segments. Sam was previously responsible for leading the successful design, delivering and implementation of Yarlington’s service transformation programme. Sam has over 30 years of experience in customer experience, previously holding Executive positions at Jardine Lloyd Thompson and Barclays Bank. Sam’s career spans across onshore and offshore customer operations, leading significant organisational change and transformation programmes that drove large scale improvements in customer experience, business performance and regulatory requirements.
Stephen Lodge

Stephen Lodge

Executive Director of Growth and Development
BSc (Hons), PGDip, FCIH Stephen joined Yarlington in August 2016 and is responsible for leading the property directorate of the business to ensure the growth of good quality new homes, spanning all tenures, across the region. He is responsible for asset management, including landlord compliance, and leads the sales and home ownership team. Stephen has worked in the housing sector for 25 years, initially as a volunteer in direct access homeless hostels before pursuing a career in housing management and more latterly, development and asset management. He has worked in local government and the housing association and voluntary sectors, both regionally and nationally.
