Understanding your lease
Your lease sets out the terms on which we allow you to occupy the property described in the lease. It governs the relationship between the leaseholder and the landlord and sets out your rights and responsibilities. Your lease is binding which means that both parties must comply with the terms included in it.
Your lease is the principle document which determines the way your property is managed and maintained. Leases vary from property to property and it is therefore essential to familiarise yourself with the terms of your individual lease.
