Career Connections at housing provider

Over the next 3 months Connect South West are working together with one of the leading housing providers in the area to offer career advice and guidance to people aged 16 plus.

Nicki Watts from Connect South West will be available at Yarlington Housing Group’s head office until the end of March. Nicki will be offering all levels of career support from identifying work experience placements, career paths and training opportunities right through to guidance on CV writing and filling out application forms.

Nicki commented ‘We’ve had a good start to the sessions so far, already we have helped two residents identify potential career paths and broaden their career ideas. I am looking to help people whether they are in need of a starting point to find out about volunteering/gaining work experience, training opportunities right through to guidance on filling out application forms.’
