Chief Executive, Gary Orr

MBA PGDMS BSc (Hons) MCIH

Gary took up his role as Group Chief Executive in July 2011, from his previous position as CEO with Homes in Sedgemoor. He has also worked as Executive Director for Housing with Broadland Housing Association, and South East regional Director for Raglan Housing. His career in housing began in 1996 with Devon & Cornwall Housing Association.
Gary is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and current chairman of the Sedgemoor Local Strategic Partnership.

Executive Director, David Mansfield

David Mansfield joined Yarlington Housing Group as Area Director in March 1999. In June 2002 he became Director of Housing and was appointed to his present post in October 2008.
David’s work in housing spans over 30 years and he has extensive experience in both Local Authority and Housing Association posts. His career began as a housing management trainee with South Somerset District Council in 1978. With North British Housing Association (now Places for People Group) his roles included Regional Manager for the North West and he worked in both Preston and Manchester from 1983 to 1996. In November 1996 he returned to Somerset and worked again for SSDC before joining South Somerset Homes at its inception on “stock transfer” in March 1999.

Executive Director, Caroline Moore

Caroline Moore joined Yarlington Housing Group in February 2002. She previously worked for PriceWaterHouse Coopers as Senior Manager – Public Services, first at the London office and after that at the Bristol office where she developed the South West practice in housing and public sector. She had national responsibilities for the social housing practice for PWC in audit, consultancy, risk management and governance. Caroline also worked for the Housing Corporation in London regulating the financial aspects of housing associations.
